Recently the European Union filed a law suit against the US for violating trade agreements in regards to online gambling bill which was signed by President Bush in Oct 2006. The gambling lawsuit is for 100 billion in damages the European Union estimates the loss in revenues due to the bill being signed and the US has stopped online gambling. Other countries have also filed law suits in the billions for revenues lost related to online gambling. Rumors were that the US offered a few million as a settlement which was rejected.

WTO is suppose to make a ruling this month on whether other countries can sell copyright goods as a result of US not following it’s own guidelines in the WTO courts.

Plus a judge is to rule on whether the gambling bill violated the Americans constitution.

It should be a very interesting month in online gambling.
