Games Global and its exclusive studio partner AreaVegas Games have launched Bigger Bonanza Rush Express, a sequel to the Rush Express slot franchise, on 30 September 2025. The new title continues the series’ western mining theme, combining locomotive-based mechanics with gem-powered bonus features.

New bonus mechanics

The game introduces an upgraded Free Spins round that can be triggered by four different coloured gems, each activating 10 spins with a distinct modifier. Green gems guarantee a bell or gold train symbol on every spin, while purple gems upgrade bells into gold trains. Pink gems bring diamond multipliers of up to 5x, and a new red gem activates a bonus round featuring two independent grids that play simultaneously, increasing potential prize outcomes.

The core feature is triggered when a bell or gold train symbol appears on reel five alongside a Rush Express icon on reels one to four. Bells award all visible cash prizes instantly, while gold trains add their values to a cart displayed above the reels, with totals multiplied up to 10 times.

A separate Pick Feature can also be randomly triggered after base game spins, requiring players to match three nuggets to reveal one of four fixed jackpots, with maximum win potential set at 5,000 times the stake.

Comments from the companies

Rebecca Caruana, Head of Sales at AreaVegas Games, said the gem-based upgrades were designed to add new engagement layers to the Free Spins round while retaining the franchise’s identity, describing the gold train mechanic as central to the series’ appeal.

Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, said the Rush Express series had proven popular with players and that the new title builds on this with strong visual design and mechanics intended to offer replay value for operators.

Games Global operates one of the largest networks of exclusive iGaming content studios, working with 43 in-house and partner studios that have together produced more than 1,400 proprietary games over the past two decades.
