Games Global and PearFiction Studios launch pirate-themed slot Captain Skull & the Squidly Seas
PearFiction Studios has released a new kraken-themed slot title through exclusive partner Games Global, featuring jackpot coin collections and dual bonus rounds.
Games Global’s exclusive partner PearFiction Studios has launched Captain Skull & the Squidly Seas, a pirate-themed slot combining cursed sea characters with layered bonus mechanics, the companies announced on 22nd July 2025.
The game centres on Captain Skull, who commands the reels alongside a kraken collector symbol that can appear in the centre of the grid on any spin. When active, the collector gathers visible jackpot tokens and cash coins worth up to 100x, with Captain Skull able to add extra coins or increase their value during play.
Twin krakens and bonus features
Two krakens, named Squishy and Suction Cup, can appear on the reels at any point, creating stacks or trails of coins that add to potential winnings. Each kraken collector carries the chance of triggering one of two bonus rounds, and collecting five bombs activates both simultaneously.
During a six-spin free spins round, a kraken collector stays fixed in the centre of the grid while Squishy and Suction Cup move across the reels, each carrying a multiplier that changes on every spin. The feature can also spawn a KrakenTastic Zone, which begins with a 2x multiplier that rises with each spin, boosting the value of any coin landing within it.
