Playson strikes global distribution deal with Light & Wonder
The game studio has agreed a content distribution partnership with Light & Wonder, giving operators in the UK, Canada and Latin America access to its portfolio.
Playson has entered into a global distribution agreement with Light & Wonder, extending the reach of its games catalogue to operators across the UK, Canada and Latin America.
The deal allows Light & Wonder’s operator network to draw on Playson’s back catalogue through its content marketplace, which already offers more than 3,500 titles from various third-party studios. Operators using the platform can build customised, mobile-friendly gaming experiences while working within relevant regulatory frameworks.
Dazzletag first to launch
UK operator Dazzletag Entertainment was the first to make use of the new arrangement, going live last month with two Playson titles, Supercharged Clovers: Hold and Win and 3 Pots Riches: Hold and Win, across its online casino brands.
Executive comment
Blanka Homor, Sales Director at Playson, described the agreement as a significant step in the company’s growth strategy, saying it would help bring its titles to new operators and players and build on the early momentum from the Dazzletag launches.
Steve Mayes, Senior Director of Partnerships at Light & Wonder, said the tie-up reflected the company’s aim of giving operators access to strong, varied content, adding that further launches are expected throughout 2025.
Playson currently operates in 25 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide, holding licences including those from the UK Gambling Commission, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA and MinCetur, alongside a recognition notice from the MGA. Light & Wonder describes itself as a cross-platform global games company with more than 6,000 staff.
