BGaming closes 2024 art series with Malta-inspired mural collaboration
iGaming supplier BGaming has released its fourth and final artwork under its 'When Art Meets Gaming' project this year, created with half-Maltese muralist Tim Marsh ahead of SiGMA Malta.
BGaming has completed its 2024 run of creative collaborations under its ‘When Art Meets Gaming’ initiative, unveiling a final piece produced with artist Tim Marsh in the run-up to the SiGMA Malta event.
Marsh, known for his geometric, architecture-influenced style and background in graffiti and light painting, reimagined several of BGaming’s game characters for the project. The works draw on titles including Wild Tiger, Book of Cats MEGAWAYS, Elvis Frog TRUEWAYS, Aztec Magic Bonanza and Gold Rush - Johnny Cash.
Marsh’s career began in fashion in 2006, when he designed for clothing brands and directed the fashion pages of French magazine Snatch, working with names such as L’Oreal, Kenzo and Smart. He moved into light painting from 2009 and has since exhibited in Malta and France.
Eighth partnership of the year
This marks BGaming’s eighth artistic collaboration overall and the fourth completed in 2024, following earlier projects with Gonçalo MAR, Mr Cenz and Clandestinos Art.
Kate Puteiko, chief marketing officer at BGaming, said the studio was proud to work with Marsh, describing him as a highly respected muralist who had reworked the company’s characters. She added that supporting artists in the cities where BGaming operates remained a key focus, with further collaborations planned for the following year.
Marsh said the project differed from his usual mural and live-painting work, since it was completed digitally rather than on location. He noted the contrast with a recent mural he had been finishing in wet weather in Paris, calling the studio-based project an unexpected but enjoyable challenge given his usual reliance on hands-on painting for inspiration.
BGaming describes itself as an iGaming content provider with a portfolio of more than 150 products featured across over 1,600 online casinos worldwide. The company says it was the first in the sector to support cryptocurrencies and offer Provably Fair games, and also produces exclusive content in partnership with operators.
