Blueprint Gaming expands Goonies series with Megaways Quest for Riches slot

Blueprint Gaming has released The Goonies Megaways Quest for Riches, the latest instalment in its Goonies-themed slot series, on 29 May 2025.

The game builds on the studio’s Cash Collect mechanic through a multi-stage Treasure Map feature positioned above the reels. Landing cash collect symbols unlocks a sequence of modifiers, progressing through Streak Collect, Expand Collect, Respin Collect, Match Collect and Skeleton Key before reaching the headline One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure Chests feature.

Treasure chests and enhanced spins

In this feature, Bonus Scatters matching the colour of three treasure chests can fill them on subsequent spins, with filled chests triggering Enhanced Treasure Spins once the standard bonus round is activated via three scatters. Each chest guarantees a different modifier, including Max Megaways for 15,625 ways to win, removal of standard paying symbols, or Cash Collect multipliers rising to 20x.

Players triggering the standard bonus round with four to six scatters, rather than the usual three, also receive an instant cash prize alongside the ten awarded spins, with values including 20x and 100x stakes.

The title also incorporates Blueprint Gaming’s Jackpot King system, which offers cash prizes or progressive jackpots on any base game spin.

Latest in branded IP portfolio

The release follows Dumb and Dumber Route to Riches, continuing Blueprint Gaming’s focus on branded IP titles. Jo Purvis, Director of Marketing, PR and Events at Blueprint Gaming, said the studio’s Goonies-themed titles have performed strongly in recent years and that the new release aims to enhance the user experience through its expanded treasure map trail and chest feature.
