Gaming Realms adds BL4ST mechanic to Slingo range

Gaming Realms has released Slingo Candy Machine BL4ST, a new title that debuts its BL4ST mechanic within the company’s Slingo range, the studio announced on 24 June 2025.

The mechanic is designed to add extra winning opportunities to the established Slingo format by triggering chain reactions during gameplay. After each reel spin, matching numbers are highlighted and a coloured candy symbol appears. Adjacent positions are then checked for matches, with successful matches converting into dabbed positions that increase the chances of completing a Slingo line.

How BL4ST mode works

If four or more candies of the same colour appear within a single reaction, BL4ST mode is activated. During this mode, matched candy clusters carry a cash value based on their size, and further adjacent colour matches can extend the sequence. Once no further matches are found, the candies revert to numbers and the game returns to its base state.

Gaming Realms said the release reflects its ongoing efforts to diversify its Slingo portfolio with new mechanics aimed at a broad international player base.

Suki Sandhu, Chief Product Officer at Gaming Realms, said the BL4ST mechanic builds on the core Slingo experience by adding faster-paced gameplay and additional chances for players to form Slingo combinations and secure instant cash wins. Sandhu added that the company continues to look for new ways to engage players through its product development.
