Greentube makes Moldovan debut via National Lottery deal
NOVOMATIC's digital division Greentube has entered the Moldovan market through a partnership with the state-owned National Lottery of Moldova.
Greentube, the digital gaming arm of NOVOMATIC, has launched in Moldova for the first time through a tie-up with the National Lottery of Moldova, the country’s sole state-owned gambling operator.
The agreement brings a selection of Greentube titles to Moldovan players, including long-running slots Book of Ra deluxe, Sizzling Hot deluxe and Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe. The supplier’s 2025 release Piggy Prizes Wand of Riches 2 Buy Bonus is also part of the initial content package, with further titles expected to follow.
Regulated market push
The deal forms part of Greentube’s strategy to expand into regulated markets, adding to its existing footprint across Central and Eastern Europe. The National Lottery of Moldova, established in 2011, offers online lottery and betting products alongside offline lotteries and slot machines, and is responsible for regulating gambling activity and channelling state revenues into public initiatives.
Andrei Petre, Sales and Key Account Manager at Greentube, described the Moldovan launch as a strategic milestone, saying it gives the company a strong position to reach players with both established and new content.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery of Moldova said the partnership allows it to broaden its digital offering with internationally recognised games, adding that all activity under the deal would comply with national advertising and gambling legislation. The operator said the collaboration supports its wider aim of promoting transparent, compliant practices within Moldova’s gambling sector.
