Greentube enters South African market via Goldrush deal

Greentube, the digital gaming division of NOVOMATIC, has struck a partnership with Goldrush Gaming Group to launch its content in South Africa, marking the provider’s debut in the market.

Under the agreement, Goldrush will offer its players access to Greentube’s game library through the supplier’s Mynt platform, a system built around a Remote Gaming Server designed to support player engagement and retention for operators.

The initial rollout will include established Greentube titles such as Book of Ra, Lucky Lady’s Charm deluxe and Sizzling Hot deluxe, with additional games expected to be added throughout the launch period.

Goldrush’s footprint

Founded in 1998, Goldrush is one of South Africa’s largest gaming and entertainment operators, running more than 35 casino and bingo venues under the Goldrush and Bingo Royale brands, alongside over 60 retail sports betting outlets. The group, owned by JSE-listed RECM Calibre, also operates online gaming and sports betting through its Gbets and Goldrush online arms.

Executive comment

Dominik Öller, Sales and Key Account Manager at Greentube, said South Africa represented a key market in the company’s global expansion and that the deal offered a chance to showcase its content through the new Mynt platform.

Peter Amblianities, Marketing Manager at Goldrush, said the partnership aligned with the operator’s aim of providing top-tier entertainment, highlighting Book of Ra as a particularly popular title among its bingo customers.

The deal forms part of Greentube’s ongoing efforts to expand its international footprint while continuing to supply its wider catalogue of video slots, table games and video bingo products to operators worldwide.
