Hungrybear Gaming and Spree.com Launch Instant Win Version of Slot Masters in US

Hungrybear Gaming has teamed up with social casino operator Spree.com to launch a new version of its multiplayer slot game Slot Masters in the US social casino market, the company announced on 5 December 2024.

The title, previously known for its peer-to-peer tournament format, has been reworked into a new Sit&Spin instant win mode that will be available exclusively on Spree.com. Rather than waiting for tournament results, players in this format can see immediately whether they have won.

Free to play format retained

The instant win version keeps the social, multiplayer structure that made the original Slot Masters popular, while adding real-time outcomes. In line with Spree.com’s existing model, the game is free to play, with players entered into prize draws each time they play rather than staking money directly.

Hungrybear Gaming CEO Justin Chamberlain said the launch marked a significant step for the company’s expansion into the US social casino sector, adding that the instant win format preserves the engagement and community feel of the original game while introducing quicker results and prize opportunities.

Spree.com co-founder Chris Davis said the partnership introduced the concept of multiplayer slot battles to the social casino space, describing Hungrybear’s free to play products as a strong fit for Spree.com’s business model and suggesting the free entry mechanic would appeal to players compared with other options currently on the market.

Both companies said they expect the format to appeal to US players by combining elements of traditional slot games with competitive multiplayer mechanics, alongside an emphasis on accessibility.
