IWG Brings Michigan Lottery's Wild Time Brand to iLottery Channel
Instant Win Gaming has worked with the Michigan Lottery to convert its retail scratch-off favourite Wild Time into an online eInstant game offering three price points in one title.
Instant Win Gaming (IWG), a supplier of eInstant games to lotteries belonging to NASPL and the World Lottery Association, has partnered with the Michigan Lottery to launch Wild Time Triple Play, a digital adaptation of the state’s popular Wild Time retail instant game series. The title went live on Tuesday, 17 June 2025.
The new eInstant draws on the branding and gameplay familiar to retail players in Michigan, with IWG applying its digital development expertise to translate the format for online play.
Three games in one
Wild Time Triple Play merges three variants, 50X Wild Time, 20X Wild Time and 10X Wild Time, into a single product. Each version carries its own price point and prize structure, and players can move between them by changing the ticket price, with the artwork and mechanics updating automatically to match the selection.
Part of a wider pattern
The launch continues a trend of IWG working with lottery partners to digitise established retail brands. In late 2024 the supplier worked with the North Carolina Education Lottery to relaunch its long-running Bucks scratch-off brand as an eInstant, a title reported by La Fleur’s magazine to be the lottery’s best-performing digital launch to date. Pennsylvania and Virginia have also introduced localised digital versions of retail games using the same approach, and IWG is finalising a similar project with the Georgia Lottery based on a popular scratcher brand, due to launch in August.
Comment from the partners
Suzanna Shkreli, Commissioner at the Michigan Lottery, said the game was a strong addition to the lottery’s online portfolio and was expected to appeal both to existing Wild Time fans and new players, adding that IWG had captured the essence of the brand in digital form.
Rhydian Fisher, CEO of IWG, described Wild Time as an iconic brand in Michigan and highlighted the three-in-one eInstant design as a notable feature of the development. He said the launch would help support Michigan’s K-12 education funding, local businesses and the state economy.
IWG states it develops more than 300 new instant games annually for lottery customers worldwide, delivering content through its InstantRGS remote game server from data centres in the UK, Gibraltar, Canada and North America.
