Pragmatic Play Brings Smart Studio Live Casino Suite to Midnite

Pragmatic Play has launched its Smart Studio solution with UK-licensed sportsbook and casino operator Midnite, giving the operator a customised live casino offering.

The deal, announced on 20 August 2025, sees Midnite use Smart Studio to tailor several of Pragmatic Play’s live casino titles, including Blackjack, Blackjack X, Roulette and Auto Roulette, into a branded experience for its players.

Smart Studio technology allows several operator brands to run on shared live casino tables, positioned by Pragmatic Play as a quicker and cheaper alternative to building fully dedicated studio setups.

Strategic move into live casino

For Midnite, the rollout represents an expansion into the live casino vertical as the operator looks to broaden its offering beyond sports betting. The company, which develops its sportsbook and casino platform in-house, said the partnership supports its aim of delivering a distinct, brand-aligned player experience.

Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said the Smart Studio model is designed to cut the cost and time typically needed to build branded live casino environments, calling it a suitable option for operators seeking differentiation.

Chelsea Pinho, Senior Casino Manager at Midnite, said the partnership marked a significant milestone for the operator, adding that launching a branded live casino suite would help Midnite engage players in a way consistent with its brand identity.

Alongside Smart Studio, Pragmatic Play said it offers live casino partners additional features such as promotional tools, round-the-clock support and multilingual interfaces.

Pragmatic Play is a multi-product content supplier to the iGaming sector, licensed by regulators including the Gambling Commission of Great Britain, the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner and the Malta Gaming Authority. It is headquartered in Gibraltar.

Midnite is licensed by the Great Britain Gambling Commission and the Irish Revenue Commissioner, and has raised more than $35 million in funding from investors including Raine Group, Discerning Capital, Venrex, Makers Fund and Play Ventures.
