Pragmatic Play launches Ancient Island Megaways slot

Pragmatic Play, a content supplier to the iGaming industry, has launched Ancient Island Megaways, a 6x7 slot title built around expanding wild symbols and a system of reel modifiers.

The game can display up to four modifiers in a row above reels 2 to 5 during any spin in the base game or bonus round. When a wild symbol lands, it expands to cover the entire reel and triggers whichever modifier sits above it.

Modifier features

The modifiers on offer include an additional wild reel, extra ways to win, an instant cash prize worth up to 100x stake, multipliers ranging from 2x to 50x, or the replacement of non-winning symbols with randomly selected ones.

Landing four to six scatter symbols activates the bonus round, awarding between 12 and 16 free spins. During this feature, all four modifier slots are filled on every spin, and an extra spins modifier can also appear, handing players between two and ten additional free spins.
