Racing Club Pitches Racehorse Shares as Valentine's Day Gift

Lambourn-based syndicate operator Racing Club has launched a new filly named Love You Millions, promoting racehorse ownership shares as a novelty gift ahead of Valentine's Day.

Racing Club, a horse racing syndicate provider based in Lambourn, UK, has introduced a new three-year-old filly called Love You Millions, timing the launch to coincide with Valentine’s Day.

Shares in the horse, which is yet to make her racecourse debut, are priced from £30. The company is positioning the offer as an alternative gift option for last-minute shoppers.

Richard Jaques, co-founder of Racing Club, said racehorse shares offered a longer-lasting experience than typical Valentine’s gifts, adding that giving a share in Love You Millions carried a message in keeping with the horse’s name.

Other shares on offer

Alongside the new filly, Racing Club is also promoting shares in several other horses, including Wendigo (£60), a Grade 1 runner-up due to race at this year’s Cheltenham Festival, and Spirit Of Summer (£70), who is trained by Andrew Balding. Blackwaterfoot is listed as the cheapest entry point at £25, while Handlethekettle (£60) is described as returning to competition this spring after a winter break.

Gift vouchers are also available, allowing recipients to choose their own horse. Buyers can opt for a printed welcome pack, delivered within three to five working days for £5.99, or a free digital welcome pack that can be sent on a chosen date.

Ownership benefits

According to Racing Club, shareholders receive regular updates on their horses, an equal share of any prize money, and the chance to enter ballots for owner badges and stable visits. The company said it aims to build a community atmosphere among its members, with additional perks including the chance to win hospitality tickets to venues such as The O2, Wembley Stadium, Newbury Racecourse and Southampton FC.

Racing Club also runs a VIP Syndicate service for those seeking a more premium ownership experience or outright horse ownership.
