Relax Gaming brings Dream Drop jackpots to The Great Pigsby franchise

Relax Gaming has released The Great Pigsby Dream Drop, a new instalment in its popular 1930s-themed slot series that now incorporates the studio’s Dream Drop Jackpot mechanic.

The title keeps the visual style of the original game while adding five progressive jackpot tiers: Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major and Mega. A randomly triggered Dream Drop feature moves players into a bonus round built around a coin-pusher mechanic, where landing three Dream Drop coins in one jackpot container secures a prize.

Additional mechanics

The game also includes Free Spins, activated when Scatter symbols land on reels one, three and five, along with a Wild Respins feature capable of turning up to four reels wild. A Great Pigsby Respin function adds extra Pigsby symbols to the reels to increase winning opportunities.

The release is the fourth title in the Great Pigsby series, following the original game, Megapays and Megaways versions. Relax Gaming said the addition of the Dream Drop feature is intended to keep the franchise relevant for players while offering operators a low volatility option.

Shelley Hannah, chief product officer at Relax Gaming, said bringing the Dream Drop mechanic to the series allowed the studio to build on the appeal of the original title while adding a new layer of player engagement, describing the launch as a fitting way to close out the company’s 2024 release schedule.
