SIS (Sports Information Services) has launched its Competitive Gaming esports product with operator Codere, the company announced on 28th August 2024.

The non-tournament product, which covers eSoccer and eBasketball events from the H2H Global Gaming League, is now live across Codere’s retail and online channels in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Spain.

Round-the-clock content

SIS said Competitive Gaming offers more than 150,000 events per year and is designed to boost sportsbook margins, with the supplier citing potential value increases of up to 10%. All content is produced in-house from SIS gaming studios in the UK, featuring sub-second latency live streaming, ESIC-trained integrity referees present at every fixture, and on-screen graphics intended to support in-play betting engagement.

Angel Calderon, Head of Sales for Iberia, UK and Europe at SIS, said the Codere partnership reflected the company’s progress in Spanish-speaking markets and would widen its reach and speed to market in the region. He added that the round-the-clock eSoccer and eBasketball offering was expected to give Codere customers more choice and generate additional revenue for the operator.

Sergio Garcia, Sportsbook Operations Manager at Codere, said the integration supported the operator’s aim of offering a leading range of betting products, noting SIS’s reputation for engaging content across both retail and online channels.
