Yggdrasil Expands Italian Presence Through bet365 Deal

Yggdrasil Gaming has announced a new content deal with bet365, giving the operator’s Italian player base access to its complete slot catalogue.

The agreement, confirmed on 28 August 2025, means bet365 customers in Italy can now play Yggdrasil titles built on the supplier’s Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs) system, alongside established series such as Vikings and Valley of the Gods. The library also includes games from studios under the YG Masters programme.

Strengthening a regulated market position

For bet365, the tie-up adds to its casino content offering as it looks to differentiate itself in Italy’s competitive regulated gambling sector. For Yggdrasil, the deal marks the latest in a series of commercial agreements as the supplier continues to grow its footprint across regulated markets internationally.

Jose Kadala, Commercial Director at Yggdrasil, said the company was pleased to bring its slots and GEMs technology to bet365, describing Italy as a key market for the business and the partnership as reflective of its focus on regulated markets.

A bet365 spokesperson said Yggdrasil’s content library offers the kind of engaging titles its players are looking for, adding that the operator was keen to see the impact on its casino offering.

Yggdrasil, founded in 2013, is headquartered in Sweden with additional offices in Malta, Poland and Gibraltar. The supplier is known for innovations including its BOOST promotional toolset and GEMs portfolio, which currently comprises ten mechanics.
