AvatarUX launches Floridaman slot under Yggdrasil's YGG Masters banner
AvatarUX has released Floridaman, a new YGG Masters slot combining ZapReel, Wild Attack and Jailed Wilds mechanics, through Yggdrasil's distribution network.
AvatarUX, a studio operating under Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme, has launched Floridaman, a new online slot themed around Florida’s swampland and built around several feature mechanics.
The game uses AvatarUX’s ZapReel system, which adds an extra reel above the main grid. This reel holds six positions, with the two central slots forming a Wild Jail where collected wild symbols are stored during play.
Key features
A Floridaman Attack feature can be triggered on any spin that ends without a winning combination but includes a high-paying symbol. When activated, high-paying symbols convert into Floridaman Wilds, which are stored in the Wild Jail. On the final spin of the sequence, all accumulated wilds are released across the board to boost potential wins.
Landing three or more bonus symbols triggers a free spins round. This can activate a Swamp Fever mode, adding two extra free spins and increasing the likelihood of triggering the Floridaman Attack feature during the bonus.
Before entering the bonus round, players choose between two wheels: a Collect Wheel, which randomly assigns a number of free spins and starting ways, or a Gamble Wheel, which offers the chance to upgrade to a higher tier with more free spins and additional starting ways.
A Mystery Splits feature can also trigger at any point in the base or bonus game, increasing the number of ways to win by duplicating matching symbols across the grid.
Portfolio and technology
Floridaman joins AvatarUX’s existing slot catalogue, which includes CherryPop, TikiPop, PiggyPop and the seasonal title XmasPop Delight. The game runs on Yggdrasil’s GATI technology, a standardised development framework designed to help partner studios build regulation-ready content and distribute it quickly across markets.
