BGaming launches horror-themed slot Forgotten for Halloween

iGaming content provider BGaming has launched Forgotten, a new slot game drawing on classic horror themes and ghost stories, timed for the Halloween season.

The game is set in the attic of an abandoned family home, where players search through old toys that may bring either fortune or misfortune. An in-game notebook serves as a narrative device leading players towards the bonus round, which is triggered when three or more Scatter-Wild notebook symbols appear on the reels.

Game mechanics

Forgotten runs across 10 paylines and carries a return-to-player rate of 96.89%, with very high volatility and a maximum win of 7,500 times the stake. The bonus round awards 10 free spins, during which randomly selected toy symbols expand across the reels, pitted against monster symbols to generate wins. The developer has also included jumpscare animations during play to reinforce the horror theme.

A Buy Bonus feature gives players the option to purchase entry into the bonus round at four different levels, letting them choose between 1, 2, 4 or 8 expanding toy symbols depending on their preferred risk level. A separate Chance x2 feature allows players to double their odds of reaching the bonus game naturally.

Yulia Aliakseyeva, Co-CPO at BGaming, said the title was designed to combine seasonal horror atmosphere with distinctive game mechanics, describing it as an attempt to build suspense through both visual design and gameplay features.

The studio says it was the first in the sector to support cryptocurrency payments and to introduce Provably Fair gaming, and it also produces exclusive titles in partnership with individual operators.
