Customer Data Platform Zeotap Secures $25m Funding, Names New Chair and COO
Berlin-based customer data platform Zeotap, whose clients include sports betting operator Entain, has raised $25 million and appointed two new senior leaders as it pushes towards profitability.
Zeotap, the enterprise customer data platform (CDP), has announced a $25 million funding round from a mix of existing and new investors, including SignalFire and Salica Investments. The company said the raise, made up of equity and debt secured this year, is intended to support its move towards profitability.
Alongside the funding, Zeotap has strengthened its leadership team with two new appointments. Amir Rosentuler joins as Chairman of the Board, bringing experience from his time as Chairman of MotorK, which he helped take public in 2021. Elad Simon has been named Chief Operating Officer, taking charge of Zeotap’s marketing and post-sales teams as well as corporate development. Simon previously co-founded and led Craft.io and held leadership roles at Taboola, Google and Barclays.

Zeotap said that over the past 18 months it has expanded its enterprise client base across Europe, working with major grocery retailers and telecoms firms as well as football club FC Bayern Munich and global sports betting company Entain.
Investment priorities
The company said the new capital will be directed towards three main areas: developing AI-powered features for its CDP in partnership with Google Cloud, expanding client and partner programmes to widen its market reach, and continuing product development with a focus on privacy tools and data integration for enterprise customers.
Projjol Banerjea, founder and Chief Product Officer at Zeotap, said the company continues to serve as a leading CDP provider for major European brands. Stephen Fahy of Salica Investments’ Growth Debt Fund described Zeotap as Europe’s leading CDP provider and said the firm was pleased to support its growth plans.
Newly appointed Chairman Rosentuler said Zeotap was at an important stage in its development, while Daniel Heer, Zeotap’s chief executive and founder, said the investment would help accelerate the company’s ambitions heading into 2025.
Founded in 2014, Zeotap describes its mission as helping brands use customer data more effectively while maintaining privacy compliance across Europe.
