Evoplay reports player growth, new lottery deals and leadership changes in H1 2025
Game studio Evoplay says player activity rose 47% in the first half of 2025 as it expanded into lottery and bingo, launched new marketing tools and confirmed the departure of its chief commercial officer.
Evoplay has reported growth across its business in the first half of 2025, citing increases in player activity, rounds played and revenue alongside expansion into new product verticals and partnerships.
The studio said it released 19 new titles in the period, with player activity up 47% year on year. Total rounds played rose 27%, gross gaming revenue increased 21% and total bets grew 24%, according to the company.
Awards and lottery push
Evoplay picked up the Slots Provider of the Year award at the AffPapa Awards and the Game Design & Art Direction prize at the SBC Awards Europe for its title Adrenaline Rush.
The company also expanded further into lottery and bingo, launching Adrenaline Rush: Scratch and signing partnerships with state lottery operators Loterías Torito in Peru and Azerlotereya in Azerbaijan. Evoplay said the titles were localised to meet local lottery regulations and responsible gambling requirements. Frank Cecchini, Evoplay’s Head of Lottery, said the lottery offering was intended to help operators diversify their portfolios without disrupting the traditional lottery model.
Marketing and affiliate tools
On the marketing side, Evoplay launched its Big Adventures Campaign, described as its largest network promotion to date with a €2.5 million prize pool, and continued to build out its Client Area platform for partners. It also introduced an Affiliate Hub offering release schedules, game sheets and brand assets to media and affiliate partners.
Diana Larina, Head of Marketing at Evoplay, said the aim was to give operators and affiliates the tools to promote games effectively. The company also co-developed a title, Uncrossable Rush, with analytics and affiliate platform SlotCatalog, which it described as a first for data-driven game development in partnership with an affiliate business.
Leadership changes
Evoplay confirmed that Chief Commercial Officer Ihor Zarechnyi, who joined the company in 2021, is stepping down. CEO Ivan Kravchuk thanked him for his contribution to the studio’s commercial strategy and global expansion.
The company also announced internal promotions, including Vasilena Gekova to Head of Finance, following earlier promotions for Anton Gyria to Director of Business Operations and Olga Pronak to Head of Key Account Management. Gyria said the move into a more strategic role would allow him to support the business while maintaining its existing culture.
Kravchuk said the first half of 2025 reflected the strength of the company’s strategy and its team’s work in expanding into new verticals and forming new partnerships.
