Games Global has released Inferno Fortunes Power Combo Extra, a new slot developed with ALL FOR ONE Studios that builds on the companies’ existing Power Combo bonus mechanic.
The 5x3 title introduces two new enhancers layered on top of the original three-power bonus system. Blue, red and green fireball scatters each trigger a different effect on the game’s 4x4 bonus grid: Booster Power raises coin values by up to 2.5x, Multiplier Power applies multipliers of 2x, 3x or 5x, and Coins Power adds extra coins to the grid. Each power can build up through eight levels during the base game, and two or three powers can combine within the same bonus round.
New gem token features
The Power Combo Extra update adds gem tokens attached to triggering scatters. Yellow gems add an extra coin when the spin counter expires and reset the counter to three spins, while white gems guarantee a spin on the Jackpot Wheel once the bonus feature ends.
Filling all 16 positions on the bonus grid with coins also activates the Jackpot Wheel, which pays out one of five prizes: Mini (10x), Minor (20x), Major (50x), Mega (250x) or Grand (5,000x).
Outside the bonus rounds, a random Cash Mode can activate during base game play, bringing all three powers into a single spin and guaranteeing a coin win. The game also offers three Bet Boost options, plus Bonus Buy and Upsizer features.
Comments
Julia Saburova, Head of ALL FOR ONE Studios, said the update adds “a whole new layer of Extras” that trigger alongside the existing powers, with multiple powers and extras able to combine within a single bonus game. She said the gem tokens introduce extra lives and jackpot opportunities that increase the potential of each bonus round.
Dave Reynolds, Director of Games Strategy and Partner Management at Games Global, said the title combines three bonus powers, Cash Mode and five jackpots, building on an established mechanic while introducing new ways for features to interact.
