Games Global and Just For The Win Launch Dark Waters 2 Power Combo Slot

Games Global has announced the launch of Dark Waters 2 Power Combo, a sequel slot title developed by exclusive studio partner Just For The Win, released on 26th August 2025.

The game follows the original Dark Waters Power Combo and retains the studio’s Power Combo mechanic, combining it with new progression features themed around a Kraken watching over the reels. Games Global states the title offers a maximum win potential of up to 6,250 times the stake.

Core mechanics

The slot is built around a Cash Collect feature, which can trigger when a Collect symbol lands on the sixth reel. This awards all visible money and jackpot symbols on screen, with payouts ranging from 0.5x to 5,000x the bet across mini, minor, major and mega jackpot tiers.

A Free Spins round introduces three upgradeable Power Combo modes. Giant Reels can expand the grid to a 6x8 format, creating up to 262,144 ways to win. Stack Collect increases the number of Collect symbols in play, while Golden Reels can convert up to four reels into money-only reels.

Diamond Menu progression

A new Diamond Menu feature adds a further layer of progression. Diamond tokens can upgrade the Free Spins modes through four levels, increasing potential rewards at each stage, while bonus tokens can extend the round with additional spins.

The Diamond Menu also unlocks further enhancements, including Coin Burst and Kraken’s Choice, building towards a top-tier Kraken Power Combo state in which all features are active simultaneously.

Executive comment

Johan Persson, chief executive and founder of Just For The Win, said the original Dark Waters Power Combo had proven popular with players and that the sequel was designed to build on that reception through the addition of the Diamond Menu and expanded Free Spins progression.

Andy Booth, chief product officer at Games Global, described the release as a strong follow-up within the Power Combo series, citing its visual design and layered mechanics as building on the appeal of the original game.

Just For The Win has operated as a games studio since 2016, while Games Global operates a network of in-house and partnered studios that have produced more than 1,400 proprietary titles over the past two decades.
