Games Global expands into iLottery with new eInstant games unit

Games Global has announced plans to supply eInstant games to the iLottery sector, marking its entry into what it describes as the fastest-growing category within lottery gaming.

The company, which operates more than 40 game studios and supplies over 600 branded gaming sites in regulated markets, has set up a specific business unit to develop eInstant products for members of the World Lottery Association (WLA).

EQL partnership to speed deployment

To support the move, Games Global has struck a partnership with EQL, a content aggregator with existing integrations across multiple iLottery platforms. The arrangement is designed to give lottery operators direct access to Games Global’s eInstants catalogue, with EQL’s established platform connections intended to speed up the rollout of chosen titles.

Games Global said the eInstant range will draw on the same design and development approach used in its core iGaming business, including its studio-first model that allows for rapid production of bespoke titles. The company already runs one of the sector’s largest progressive jackpot networks and is behind franchises such as Gold Blitz and Pots of Gold.

First titles due this autumn

According to the release, an initial set of eInstant games will go live with a national lottery operator in early autumn 2025, with further titles to follow on an ongoing basis.

Walter Bugno, chief executive of Games Global, said the company had decided to commit its gaming expertise to the lottery sector, adding that its dedicated iLottery studio was already developing games tailored to that market’s requirements.

Mark MacCombie, executive vice president for new business and strategic investments at Games Global, said there were significant content parallels between iGaming and lottery gaming that the company could draw on, pointing to lottery experience within its senior leadership team. He also welcomed EQL as a distribution partner with operational iLottery integrations in several jurisdictions.
