Light & Wonder launches EggLink Astro Cat slot via Lightning Box studio

Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNW) has introduced EggLink Astro Cat, a new slot title developed by its in-house studio Lightning Box. The game merges the existing Astro Cat theme with the EggLink mechanic, marking the third instalment in the EggLink series.

The title is a 3x5 grid slot with an oriental-inspired design and offers 243 ways to win. It features a Suck Eggs Bonus, triggered when six or more Scatter Eggs appear, awarding eight bonus spins. During this round, Fox symbols collect Golden Egg prizes along with Mini and Minor Jackpot symbols. Landing a weathervane symbol can extend the bonus round by up to ten additional spins.

Jackpot and respin features

The EggLink mechanic centres on an Egg Prize collection system, where Scatter Eggs feed into an EggLink Coop. Filling the Coop can trigger an EggLink Drop, offering further prizes including Grand and Major Jackpots.

A separate Astro Cat Respins feature is activated when three or more bonus symbols appear, splitting the centre reels into individual Wild Respin reels. Wild symbols lock in place for continued respins, while a Poison symbol ends the sequence. Locking all Wilds triggers a Megaspin round for additional rewards.

EggLink Astro Cat is currently available exclusively through Rush Street Interactive for online players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Ontario.
