Playson brings back its jester in Pink Joker: Hold and Win

Playson has released Pink Joker: Hold and Win, a new slot title reviving its long-running jester character within the studio’s Hold and Win game series.

Set on a 3x3 grid, the game combines classic fruit and electric symbols with jackpot-style coin icons. Its Bonus Game is triggered when a Bonus symbol appears on every reel, activating a series of respins that continue as long as new symbols keep landing.

Multipliers and collect mechanics

During the Bonus Game, a Joker’s Multiplier can appear on any cell, applying a x2 multiplier before vanishing. Landing the same symbol again in that cell increases the multiplier further, while a coin Bonus symbol landing on a marked cell has its payout multiplied accordingly. Only Bonus, Collect and Joker Multiplier symbols appear during this phase, designed to increase the potential for larger wins.

The game also includes a Collect feature, activated when the lightning bolt Collect symbol appears alongside a Bonus symbol, adding together the values of all Bonus symbols present for that spin or bonus round.

A separate Pile of Gold feature can be randomly triggered by a Bonus symbol during the Main Game, adding extra Bonus and Collect symbols to the reels, potentially enough to launch the Bonus Game outright.

Players can also win one of four fixed jackpots, Mini, Minor, Major and Grand, with combined values reaching up to x1,000 the stake.

Company comment

Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the title combines the character’s established appeal with new mechanics such as Joker Wild symbols and multipliers, alongside the return of the Pile of Gold and Collect features. He added that the graphics and audio design aim to complement these mechanics and deliver an engaging experience for players.

Playson operates in 24 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide. The company holds licences including the UK Gambling Commission, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA and MinCetur, along with a recognition notice from the MGA, and is headquartered in Malta and Slovakia.
