Playson, the digital entertainment supplier, has released Piggy Power: Hit the Bonus, the latest title in its established Hit the Bonus series, on 29 August 2024.
The 3x3 slot uses a limited set of high value symbols, including golden coin bonus icons, pink-centred Sticky Bonus coins, and volt-themed mystery symbols. Landing three symbols on the middle reel triggers the Bonus Game, during which symbols stick to the reels for the remainder of the round.
Bonus mechanics
Players begin the Bonus Game with three respins, with the counter resetting to three each time a new symbol lands. The round continues until either the respins are exhausted or every cell on the reels is filled.
During the base game, landing a Bonus, Sticky Bonus or Jackpot symbol on the middle row can trigger the Power Bonus Game, either by adding further symbols or awarding high value multipliers.
A further feature, the Piggy Multiplier, can randomly activate during the Bonus or Power Bonus Game, applying up to nine multipliers to random cells on a single spin.
Jackpots
The game also includes four fixed jackpots, Mini, Minor, Major and Grand, with the top prize worth up to 1,000 times the stake.
Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the release builds on the studio’s existing Hit the Bonus mechanic with new features aimed at increasing win potential, and pointed to the game’s graphics and audio design as contributing to the overall player experience.
Playson operates across 24 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide. The company is headquartered in Malta and Slovakia and holds licences including the UKGC, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA and MinCetur, alongside a recognition notice from the MGA.
