Playson launches savannah-themed slot Lion Gems 3 Pots: Hold and Win
Playson has released a new African-themed slot combining its established 3 Pots mechanic with a Hold and Win bonus and a 5,000x Grand Jackpot.
Playson has released Lion Gems 3 Pots: Hold and Win, a new online slot set against an African savannah backdrop, the digital entertainment supplier announced on 19th June 2025.
The 5x4 title features lions, gems and diamonds across the reels, with three Special Gem colours triggering different Pot Features within a Hold and Win Bonus Game. The red gem activates a Double feature, multiplying matching Bonus symbols by up to 2x before a further value boost that can reach 50x. The green gem powers a Mystery feature offering random cash or jackpot payouts of up to 150x, while the violet gem triggers a Collect feature that gathers the value of all symbols landing on the reels.
Extra Gem and jackpot tiers
A multi-coloured Extra Gem can appear during the Golden Bonus Game, transforming into one of the three Special Gem types and granting players an additional Pot Feature. The Golden Bonus Game also includes three Jackpot diamond variants, with players filling all 20 cells able to win the Grand Jackpot, set at 5,000x stake.
The base game includes a Free Spins mode, triggered by landing three Scatter symbols, which awards eight free spins with Wild symbols doubling payline wins. The Bonus Game can also be triggered during Free Spins.
