Pragmatic Play digs into new territory with Mining Rush slot

Pragmatic Play, a content supplier to the iGaming industry, launched Mining Rush on 12 December 2024, its newest tumbling-wins slot built around a mining theme.

The title uses a 7x7 cluster-pays grid and features dynamite scatters that convert into bronze, silver, gold or diamond nuggets, each capable of randomly awarding up to 1,000x. Nuggets progress through these tiers as they are hit repeatedly during tumbles, climbing towards the top diamond level.

Bonus round mechanics

Triggering the bonus requires landing between three and seven scatters, which activates a round of 8 to 20 free spins. During this feature, every scatter that lands becomes a nugget at a random starting tier and remains fixed in place for the rest of the round. Each additional nugget generated in the bonus adds two more free spins, with the combined mechanics capable of producing wins up to 10,000x stake.

Part of a wider cluster-pays lineup

Mining Rush joins a run of recent cluster-pays releases from the supplier, including Santa’s Xmas Rush, Moleionaire and Candy Corner.

Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said the game builds on the company’s existing range of cluster-pays and mining-themed slots by adding the nugget upgrade mechanic alongside the 10,000x maximum win.
