PXP Unveils Rebrand and New PXP Unity Platform Ahead of ICE Barcelona

Payments company PXP has announced a rebrand alongside the launch of a new technology platform, PXP Unity, aimed at retailers, according to a release issued by PR agency SkyParlour.

The announcements, made in the past fortnight, coincide with the release of a new whitepaper examining payment preferences among UK and US consumers. The research found that 52% of respondents now regard security as the most important factor when choosing how to pay, according to PXP’s proprietary data.

The company describes PXP Unity as central to a new phase for the business, positioning the platform as a significant development for merchants navigating an increasingly security-conscious payments landscape.

Leadership and strategy

The developments are being led by Kamran Hedjri, Group CEO of PXP, who has more than two decades of experience in the fintech and payments sector. Hedjri previously worked at Europay before moving to BWIN, where he helped shape the operator’s payment strategy during a period of growth to more than 20 million customers across 27 countries.

He later founded the CQR/Kalixa payment group, setting up CQR Payment Solutions, CQR UK and Vincento to cover gateway, acquiring and issuing services respectively.

At PXP, Hedjri has overseen the company’s expansion into the United States and is driving its current strategic direction, including the rebrand and new platform launch. He is expected to be available at ICE Barcelona to discuss topics including US payment regulation, market trends, expansion strategy, artificial intelligence and payment digitisation.

The release was issued by SkyParlour on behalf of PXP.
