Spotlight Sports Group widens FDJ UNITED tie-up to cover 32Red
Spotlight Sports Group has extended its content partnership with FDJ UNITED, bringing its raceday content and Smart View racecards to the revamped 32Red sportsbook.
Spotlight Sports Group (SSG) has announced an extension of its long-running content agreement with FDJ UNITED, with the operator’s online betting and gaming division now rolling out SSG’s raceday content across its 32Red sportsbook.
The deal builds on an existing relationship between SSG and FDJ UNITED brand Unibet, which has carried full Racing Post racecard content, including comments, verdicts, ratings and form, for a number of years. That arrangement was widened in October to cover all international territories along with SSG’s newer Smart View racecards.
Following what SSG describes as strong customer engagement on Unibet, FDJ UNITED has now extended the same content package to 32Red. Customers of the sportsbook will get access to full racecard content, recent form data, comments and verdicts, and Smart View, covering horse racing across all territories as well as UK and Irish greyhound racing.
Smart View product
Smart View is positioned as a modern take on the traditional racecard, designed to be more accessible to bettors of varying experience levels. SSG says the product draws on design cues from video games such as FIFA and Football Manager, and was refined using feedback gathered from thousands of interviews with both novice and experienced bettors.
The underlying data is built on the Racing Post database and updates dynamically to reflect real-world conditions, with input from data scientists and racing experts alongside self-iterating data models. Smart View launched publicly in 2024 and is used daily by thousands of bettors, with its top-rated selections said to have returned a profit at major racing events when backed to a level stake.
Comments
Alistair Gill, Sportsbook & Racing Market Growth Manager at FDJ UNITED, said Racing Post content had long been a core part of the Unibet racing offering, and that the addition of Smart View last year had been well received by customers. He said the ongoing refresh of the 32Red sportsbook made it a straightforward decision to extend the same content to that brand.
Sam Houlding, Managing Director B2B at Spotlight Sports Group, said the company was pleased FDJ UNITED had extended the partnership to include 32Red, adding that FDJ UNITED had been among the first partners to back the potential of Smart View.
Spotlight Sports Group operates across the global betting, horse racing and fantasy sports sectors. Its brands include Racing Post, Pickswise, myracing and Free Super Tips, alongside B2B businesses ICS-digital and ICS-translate, and its Superfeed sports data product.
