Altenar opens São Paulo office to deepen Brazil push

Altenar, a sports betting and iGaming software provider, has opened an office in São Paulo as part of a push to strengthen its support for operators in Brazil’s regulated betting market.

The move, announced on 6th February 2025, follows the opening of an office in Uruguay last year, which was aimed at improving support for the company’s clients across Latin America. The São Paulo base becomes Altenar’s second office in the region.

Local presence, faster onboarding

According to the company, registering a local entity in Brazil is intended to speed up onboarding for new customers and allow invoicing in local currency, alongside offering closer support for operators navigating the market.

Frederico Caputi, Sales Manager at Altenar, said the São Paulo office was a strategic step that would help the company serve partners more efficiently and respond more quickly to market needs and regulatory developments in Brazil. He added that the expansion reflected Altenar’s broader commitment to growth in Latin America.

Founded in 2011, Altenar describes itself as a turnkey sportsbook provider focused on tailoring its solutions to new markets and building long-term partnerships with clients.
