Altenar unveils upgraded racing vertical with unified lobby
Sportsbook and iGaming software provider Altenar has redesigned its racing offering, combining horse and greyhound racing into a single lobby with new widgets.
Altenar, a sportsbook and iGaming software provider, announced on 3rd December 2024 that it has consolidated its horse and greyhound racing products into one streamlined lobby featuring newly developed widgets.
The redesign aims to improve usability for players, allowing them to filter and browse upcoming and popular races more easily within a single interface.
The update follows the launch of Altenar’s eSports lobby in September, which the company says reflects its ongoing focus on innovation and responsiveness to client needs across its global markets.

Dinos Doxiadis, Altenar’s Sportsbook Product Development Manager, said the racing lobby forms part of a wider run of product upgrades introduced over the summer, aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the sports betting sector. He added that the simplified navigation should make it easier for players to find races, which in turn could help operators improve player retention.
Altenar is presenting its products, including the new racing lobby, at Stand 5L18 at ICE Barcelona.
Founded in 2011, Altenar describes itself as a turnkey sportsbook provider focused on tailoring solutions for operators across different markets.
