EvenBet Gaming enters Paraguay via JugaMax poker deal
Poker software supplier EvenBet Gaming has partnered with Paraguayan operator JugaMax to launch its poker products, marking the company's first foray into the country.
EvenBet Gaming, a developer of online poker and gaming platforms, has agreed a deal with JugaMax, one of Paraguay’s largest casino operators, to integrate its poker suite onto the operator’s online platform. The announcement was made on 21 October 2024 and represents EvenBet’s initial entry into the Paraguayan market.
The agreement brings EvenBet’s cash games, Sit & Go and Spins tournament formats to JugaMax’s site, aimed at widening the operator’s player base among both casual and experienced poker users. JugaMax, which holds certification from Paraguay’s Comisión Nacional de Juegos de Azar (CONAJZAR), is marking the launch with weekly tournaments carrying guaranteed prize pools, alongside free tournament tickets distributed through social media promotions.
Growing Latin American market
The tie-up follows regulatory developments and expansion within Paraguay’s iGaming sector. According to figures cited by EvenBet, online casino revenue in the country rose 14.2% in 2023 to more than USD 23 million, with average annual revenue per user exceeding USD 1,500. The market is forecast to grow by close to 30% over the next three years.
For EvenBet, the partnership extends its footprint across Latin America, while for JugaMax it adds poker content to its existing casino game offering.
Manuel Jiménez, Head of LatAm Sales at EvenBet Gaming, said the company was pleased to bring its poker technology to Paraguay and expected the partnership to strengthen its regional presence and influence the local online poker market.
Pablo Bergesio, President at JugaMax, said the addition of EvenBet’s poker solutions would broaden the operator’s appeal to poker players across Latin America and support its growth ambitions as the Paraguayan iGaming market expands.
EvenBet Gaming is headquartered and licensed in Malta under an MGA B2B licence, with more than 130 staff across offices in Malta, the United States, Serbia, Armenia and Colombia. The company holds ISO 27001, iTech Labs, BMM Labs and GLI certifications and was named Poker Provider winner at the 2024 EGR B2B Awards.
JugaMax operates as a gambling brand in Paraguay offering slot and casino games, with staff based across Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay and Spain.
