Games Global's Switch Studios unveils 9 Masks of Fire Land & Win

Games Global’s in-house studio Switch Studios launched 9 Masks of Fire Land & Win on 7th October 2024, extending its established slot series with a hybrid table game format.

The title uses a game board styled on classic roulette, letting players place straight-up bets on numbers one to 36. A single slot-style reel sits alongside the board, and once bets are placed, the reel spins to randomly place up to 10 multiplier masks across the grid, which can increase payouts by as much as 100x.

Bonus modifiers

Three modifiers can appear from the reel to boost winning potential. A multiplier boost raises all existing multipliers on the board by up to 50x. A mask symbol can add up to six further multipliers at random positions. A Free Plays icon awards up to eight additional rounds, retaining the same numbers and bet value from the triggering round.

The game merges the established 9 Masks of Fire brand with the Land & Win mechanic, which Games Global says allows players to control volatility by selecting how many numbers to back.

Tom David, Head of Switch Studios, said the release was a collaboration between Gameburger and Switch Studios, bringing together two established brands. He noted the Land & Win mechanic gives players control over volatility through their number selections, while the 9 Masks of Fire brand offers familiarity, with maximum wins reaching up to 4,500x.

Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, described the 9 Masks of Fire series as a key part of the company’s portfolio, adding that this release retains the appeal of a traditional roulette layout while introducing modern modifiers aimed at delivering significant win opportunities.
