Greentube adds Christmas slot to Diamond Link series

Greentube, the digital gaming division of NOVOMATIC, has released Diamond Link: Mighty Santa Boarded Up, a Christmas-themed addition to its Diamond Link slot series.

The game features seasonal symbols including cookies, reindeer and diamonds across the reels. Its Diamond Link feature is triggered either by landing six or more scatter symbols or by filling a progress meter with diamond icons. Once activated, diamonds turn pink and their values become multipliers.

Board game mechanic

The feature opens with an explosion sequence that highlights between one and four fields behind randomly chosen diamonds, with the resulting multiplier displayed on a sleigh graphic. A game board then appears alongside a Santa character that players move around by rolling dice, landing on fields that trigger different bonuses.

These include Spin Fields, which award a free spin with sticky diamonds; Watch Fields, where a Christmas countdown determines whether the feature continues; Special Fields, which trigger add, multiplier or collect effects; and Diamond Fields, which double the value of all diamonds present.

The feature ends when the countdown expires or all reel positions are filled, at which point diamond values and any jackpots are awarded. Filling all 15 reel positions with diamonds triggers the Grand Jackpot, worth a minimum of 1000 times the stake.
