Habanero secures licence to enter Brazil's regulated market
Slots and table games supplier Habanero has obtained a licence to operate in Brazil, marking its formal entry into the country's newly regulated iGaming sector.
Habanero has been granted a licence to operate in Brazil, the company announced on 13th January 2025, as it continues to expand its presence across Latin America.
The licence allows Brazilian players access to Habanero’s slots and table games catalogue, including titles such as Hot Hot Fruit, Santa’s Village and Zeus Deluxe. The supplier said further releases tailored to local player preferences would follow.
Part of wider Latin America push
The Brazil launch follows Habanero’s recent entries into Peru, Buenos Aires and Denmark, forming part of a broader international expansion strategy. The company said it intends to focus on localised content in Brazil to appeal to operators and players in the market.
Arcangelo Lonoce, Head of Business Development at Habanero, said entering Brazil was a significant step in the company’s global growth plans, noting that Latin America had long been a target region. He added that the company aims to build partnerships in Brazil and replicate the recognition it has achieved in other markets.
Habanero is certified in more than 20 jurisdictions and offers over 150 slot titles alongside table and video poker games, along with a proprietary jackpot system.
