BetGames has appointed Maciej Smolarek as its new Chief Technology Officer, strengthening the supplier’s C-suite as it pushes further into RNG game development.
Smolarek brings more than a decade of experience in software development and engineering leadership. He moved into the gaming industry in 2016 and has since held senior technology roles including R&D Director of Business Applications at Huuuge Games and Chief Technology Officer at Yggdrasil.
Focus on RNG growth
At BetGames, Smolarek will be responsible for improving the quality, stability and overall performance of the company’s products, supporting its commercial ambitions for 2025 and beyond. He will work alongside the firm’s engineering teams to develop new content across both its RNG and Live Casino verticals, drawing on his experience launching RNG products at scale.

He said Smolarek’s experience in shipping iGaming content positioned him well to help drive the company’s next phase of product development.
Smolarek said he was looking forward to contributing to BetGames’ expansion beyond its established Live Casino business, aiming to help the company build a similar reputation in the RNG space.
