RubyPlay names Motti Gil as Chief Financial Officer

RubyPlay, a B2B iGaming development studio, announced on 16th January 2025 the appointment of Motti Gil as Chief Financial Officer.

Gil joins from NeoGames Group, where he served as CFO following the company’s acquisition of Aspire Global. He had originally joined Aspire Global as CFO in 2016, later helping to lead its 2017 initial public offering and overseeing organic growth alongside mergers and acquisitions, including the integration of Pariplay and BtoBet. Aspire Global was subsequently acquired by NeoGames in 2022, with Gil promoted to NeoGames CFO shortly after Aristocrat’s announced $1.2 billion acquisition of that company.

Focus on US expansion

At RubyPlay, Gil will be responsible for developing financial and business policies to support the company’s growth strategy, particularly following its recent move into the US market in partnership with Rush Street Interactive.

Dr Eyal Loz, Chief Product Officer at RubyPlay, said the company was pleased to welcome Gil, citing his experience managing financial and business strategy across complex and regulated markets as a valuable addition to the leadership team.

Gil said he was joining RubyPlay at a pivotal point in its growth and looked forward to contributing to the company’s next phase of expansion.

RubyPlay offers a catalogue of more than 130 slot games along with bespoke development services, and operates from offices in Australia, Malta and Ukraine.
