SpinOn and Yggdrasil launch cyberpunk-themed slot Saber
SpinOn has released Saber through Yggdrasil's YGG Masters programme, a futuristic slot built around a levelling respin mechanic and expanding reels.
SpinOn has launched Saber, a new online slot developed under Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme, set in a neon-lit futuristic city.
The game centres on a respin mechanic that activates whenever a win lands on an active win line. Each respin can trigger a level-up, unlocking additional win lines and increasing the chances of further wins as players progress through the game’s levels.
Reaching level five awards players 20 win lines along with expanding reels, extra symbols and fixed wild positions. The sixth and final level triggers one more respin featuring a further reel expansion and a multiplier of up to 25x.
The game also includes an Xtreme Wilds modifier, which can be randomly triggered at the start of any spin to add wild symbols in an X-shaped formation across the middle three reels.
Built on Yggdrasil’s GATI platform
Saber runs on Yggdrasil’s GATI technology, a standardised, regulation-ready development toolkit designed to help partners produce and distribute new content quickly.
Zoe Bird, Head of Masters at Yggdrasil, said the game’s expanding reels and level-based respins allow the mechanics to shift significantly during play, adding that the visuals and audio are designed to match the pace of the action.
SpinOn’s marketing team described Saber as a fast-paced slot combining escalating wild features with increasing win potential as players climb through its levels.
SpinOn is a Malta-based slot studio that partners with Yggdrasil through the YGG Masters initiative, which allows independent developers to publish games via Yggdrasil’s platform and distribution network.
The release was issued by Yggdrasil via PR agency Square in the Air.
