Yggdrasil and SpinOn launch Irish-themed slot Life O'Riley
Yggdrasil has teamed up with SpinOn on a new YGG Masters slot release built around Irish pub imagery and a pint-collection bonus mechanic.
Yggdrasil and SpinOn have released Life O’Riley, the latest title in Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme, on 22 January 2025. The Irish-themed slot centres on a pint collection feature designed to combine free spins, sticky wilds, multipliers and mystery symbols.
Gameplay is built around landing Beer Tap symbols, which unlock features carried through to a bonus round. Players are guaranteed a minimum of five free spins even if no additional features have been triggered beforehand.
Bonus mechanics
Wild symbols substitute for other symbols on the reels, while a multiplier feature, tied to progress along a pint glass trail, can boost bonus round winnings up to 10x. Sticky wilds may also appear during the bonus round and stay in place for its duration, while mystery symbols, triggered via Beer Tap collections, can convert into matching symbols.
The game runs on GATI, Yggdrasil’s proprietary development platform, which the company says provides partners with a standardised, regulation-ready toolkit for faster content production and distribution.
Comment
Zoe Bird, Head of Masters at Yggdrasil, said the title offers a traditional Irish theme timed ahead of St Patrick’s Day, combining that setting with mechanics intended to deliver rewarding gameplay.
SpinOn’s marketing team described the game as bringing Irish-themed energy to the reels, highlighting the sticky wilds, multipliers and beer tap mechanics as key features expected to appeal to players.
Yggdrasil, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Sweden with an operational hub in Malta, has built its YGG Masters programme and GATI technology as part of a wider push into publishing and game engagement tools, including its BOOST promotional toolset. SpinOn is a Malta-based studio positioned as a newer entrant to the igaming content market.
