Altenar rolls out Tipster Module to tap into influencer marketing
Sportsbook technology provider Altenar has introduced a Tipster Module enabling operators to embed influencer tips, Boosted Odds and customisable branding into their platforms.
Altenar has launched a new Tipster Module designed to let its sportsbook operator clients incorporate tips from influencers and tipsters directly into their betting platforms, as part of a wider push to capitalise on influencer marketing trends.
The module allows operator brands to showcase influencer or tipster selections in several formats, including as Boosted Odds to increase visibility. Each tipster profile can be personalised with a name, avatar and unique background, giving operators scope to build out branded content around individual personalities or brand ambassadors. The tool also supports the promotion of tips sourced from affiliate websites.
Marketing tool amid tightening ad rules
Altenar said the launch responds to the growing use of influencers across industries as a marketing channel, offering operators a way to strengthen brand visibility, sponsorship activity and customer retention. The company noted that the feature is particularly relevant as advertising regulations for gambling become stricter in various markets, potentially limiting more traditional marketing routes.
Dinos Doxiadis, Altenar’s Director of Product for Sportsbook & Data, said the company wanted to create a solution that could help clients navigate advertising restrictions while still building brand awareness. He added that influencer-led marketing, already established in other sectors, can be used by operators to drive traffic and support broader marketing strategies through the new module.
